Hacker known as Max is 55-year-old woman from Russia, U.S. says

Alla Witte, who reportedly writes illicit code as "Max", is the first alleged member of the Trickbot cybergang to be detained in the U.S. The group manages a botnet and sells its malware to "affiliates" who use it to target victims.
